/ˈbeɪs(ə)l/ (Basal) is a sound set for Fundamental by sonicLAB.

What is Fundamental?

Fundamental is a sound synthesis tool, combining different roots of electronic music history. Fundamental wave engine is a faithful recreation of a vintage Rohde & Schwartz vacuum tube oscillator.

The grounds of this project have been founded during a visit to Hainbach’s studio in Berlin. Well-known for incorporating vintage test equipment in his modern, electronic music. Check out his Youtube  channel for some really amazing content.

The core idea was basically recreating test tone equipment sounds, in software form. With the characterizing approach and design, that marks all the sonicLAB  products.

How to use?

Once you downloaded and unpacked the file, please copy the file to one of the following directories below.

OSX: Users/Shared/sonicLAB/Fundamental/PresetBanks
Windows: Documents/sonicLAB/Fundamental/PresetBanks
